etasmādeva pakṣīśa karma yatsamudāhṛtam puṣkarākhyānamatulaṃ śṛṇoti śraddhayānvitaḥ / hariprītikare dharme prītiyukto bhavetsadā

Translation

それゆえ、鳥の主ガルダよ、比類なき「プシュカラ」と名づけられたこの物語を、宣説された諸儀礼（カルマ）とともに信心をもって聴く者は、ハリ（ヴィシュヌ）を喜ばせるダルマに、常に歓喜と愛をもって帰依する者となる。
