Varāha-avatāra: The Boar Incarnation Lifts the Earth and Slays Hiraṇyākṣa

ブラフマーは思った。「私が創造の働きに従事している間に、大地は大洪水に呑まれ、海の深みに沈んでしまった。創造に任じられた私たちに何ができようか。私がその御心より生じた全能の主が、私を導き定めてくださいますように。」
The devotees of the Lord, who are all confidential servitors, are sometimes perplexed in the discharge of their respective duties, but they are never discouraged. They have full faith in the Lord, and He paves the way for the smooth progress of the devotee’s duty.
In this verse, Brahmā observes that during creation the earth was flooded and sank to Rasātala, prompting him to seek the Supreme Lord’s arrangement—setting the stage for Lord Varāha’s descent to উদ্ধার the earth.
Although empowered for creation, Brahmā sees the task obstructed and acknowledges his dependence on the Lord from whose heart he was born, asking Him to direct the proper course of action.
When responsibilities exceed one’s capacity, this verse teaches to act sincerely yet rely on the Supreme Controller for guidance and outcomes, cultivating humility and steadiness in crisis.
