दन्दशूकादय: सर्पा राजन् क्रोधवशात्मजा: । इलाया भूरुहा: सर्वे यातुधानाश्च सौरसा: ॥ २८ ॥

dandaśūkādayaḥ sarpā rājan krodhavaśātmajāḥ ilāyā bhūruhāḥ sarve yātudhānāś ca saurasāḥ

Translation

王よ、クローダヴァシャーの子らはダンダシューカと呼ばれる蛇をはじめ、諸々の蛇、さらに蚊などの虫であった。イラーの胎からはあらゆる蔓草・樹木・草木が生まれ、スラサーの胎からはヤートゥダーナ、すなわちラークシャサや悪しき霊が生まれた。
