Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
vāstor āṅgirasī-putro viśvakarmākṛtī-patiḥ tato manuś cākṣuṣo ’bhūd viśve sādhyā manoḥ sutāḥ
This verse identifies Viśvakarmā as the lord of craftsmanship and design, appearing in the lineage connected with Āṅgirasī, and as the progenitor of Cākṣuṣa Manu.
They are classes (hosts) of celestial beings; this verse states they arise from the offspring (daughters/line) of Cākṣuṣa Manu.
They cultivate reverence for divine order—seeing all abilities (like skill, design, work) as ultimately sourced in Bhagavān’s arrangement and meant to be offered in dharma and devotion.
