तदुपस्पर्शनादेव विनिर्धूतमलाशया: । धर्मे पारमहंस्ये च प्रोत्पन्नमतयोऽप्युत ॥ ४ ॥ तेपिरे तप एवोग्रं पित्रादेशेन यन्त्रिता: । प्रजाविवृद्धये यत्तान् देवर्षिस्तान् ददर्श ह ॥ ५ ॥
tad-upasparśanād eva vinirdhūta-malāśayāḥ dharme pāramahaṁsye ca protpanna-matayo ’py uta
その聖地で、彼らは湖の水に触れ、たびたび沐浴するだけで心の汚れが洗い落とされ、パラマハンサの法行へと志が芽生えた。だが父の命に縛られ、子孫を増やすために激しい苦行を行った。ある日、天界の聖仙ナーラダは彼らの見事な苦行を見て、近づいて来た。
This verse says that merely by contact with a great devotee, the heart’s impurities are washed away and higher spiritual understanding awakens.
Because Nārada is a pure devotee; his presence and guidance naturally awakened paramahaṁsa-level insight in them, turning their minds toward the highest dharma.
Seek regular company of sincere devotees—through satsanga, kīrtana, and hearing Bhāgavatam—so the mind becomes cleansed and spiritual priorities become clear.
