Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
दितिरुत्थाय ददृशे कुमाराननलप्रभान् । इन्द्रेण सहितान् देवी पर्यतुष्यदनिन्दिता ॥ ६८ ॥
ditir utthāya dadṛśe kumārān anala-prabhān indreṇa sahitān devī paryatuṣyad aninditā
至上人格神を礼拝したゆえに、ディティは完全に清められた。床から起き上がると、インドラと共にいる四十九人の息子たちを見た。彼らは皆、火のように輝き、インドラと友誼を結んでいたので、非難なき女神は大いに満足した。
