Vṛtrāsura Instructs Indra on Providence and Devotion; The Slaying of Vṛtrāsura

निगीर्णोऽप्यसुरेन्द्रेण न ममारोदरं गत: । महापुरुषसन्नद्धो योगमायाबलेन च ॥ ३१ ॥

nigīrṇo ’py asurendreṇa na mamārodaraṁ gataḥ mahāpuruṣa-sannaddho yoga-māyā-balena ca

阿修羅王に呑み込まれても、インドラはその腹中で死ななかった。彼はマハープルシャ・ナーラーヤナの神聖な鎧—ナーラーヤナ御自身と同一なる護り—に守られ、さらに自らのヨーガ・マーヤーの力によっても護持されていたからである。
