Transliteration

śrī-devā ūcuḥ kiṁ nu tad dustyajaṁ brahman puṁsāṁ bhūtānukampinām bhavad-vidhānāṁ mahatāṁ puṇya-ślokeḍya-karmaṇām

Translation

神々は言った。「尊きバラモンよ。功徳の誉れに讃えられ、万生に憐れみを注ぐあなたのような大聖にとって、他者の益のために捨て難いものが何であろうか。」
