Nṛsiṁhadeva Appears from the Pillar and Slays Hiraṇyakaśipu
तदा विमानावलिभिर्नभस्तलं दिदृक्षतां सङ्कुलमास नाकिनाम् । सुरानका दुन्दुभयोऽथ जघ्निरे गन्धर्वमुख्या ननृतुर्जगु: स्त्रिय: ॥ ३६ ॥
tadā vimānāvalibhir nabhastalaṁ didṛkṣatāṁ saṅkulam āsa nākinām surānakā dundubhayo ’tha jaghnire gandharva-mukhyā nanṛtur jaguḥ striyaḥ
そのとき、至上主ナーラーヤナの御業を見ようと願う神々のヴィマーナの列が天空を埋め尽くした。神々は太鼓とドゥンドゥビを打ち鳴らし、その音に合わせて天女たちは舞い、ガンダルヴァの首領たちは甘美に歌った。
They gather in celestial airplanes to witness the Lord’s extraordinary līlā and to celebrate His protection of the devotee and the restoration of dharma.
It describes a cosmic celebration—divine drums are played, Gandharvas dance, and celestial women sing—marking the Lord’s triumphant, auspicious intervention.
It teaches that when the Lord’s protection and truth prevail, devotees should respond with gratitude, kīrtana, and remembrance rather than fear or doubt.
