taṁ duratyaya-vikrāntam ādāya pramadottamā harer aṁśāṁśa-sambhūtaṁ bhartur antikam āgamat

Translation

麗しき女の中でも最上のシャクンタラーは、抗しがたい武勇を備え、至上主ハリの分の分として生まれたその子を伴い、夫ドゥシュマンタのもとへ赴いた。
