ity uktas tan-mataṁ jñātvā gataḥ sa varuṇāntikam ānīya dattvā tān aśvān upayeme varānanām

Translation

ガーディ王がこの要求を述べると、大聖者リーチーカは王の真意を悟った。そこでヴァルナ神のもとへ赴き、求められた千頭の馬を持ち帰った。馬を渡したのち、王の麗しい娘を妻として迎えた。
