पर्युष्टया तव विभो वनमालयेयं संस्पार्धिनी भगवती प्रतिपत्नीवच्छ्री: । य: सुप्रणीतममुयार्हणमाददन्नो भूयात् सदाङ्‍‍घ्रिरशुभाशयधूमकेतु: ॥ १२ ॥

paryuṣṭayā tava vibho vana-mālayeyaṁ saṁspārdhinī bhagavatī pratipatnī-vac chrīḥ yaḥ su-praṇītam amuyārhaṇam ādadan no bhūyāt sadāṅghrir aśubhāśaya-dhūmaketuḥ

全能の主よ、私たちが御胸に捧げた、しおれた森の花輪さえもあなたは受け入れてくださいました—これぞ御慈悲。あなたの超越の御胸には、吉祥の女神シュリー・ラクシュミーが永住します。そこに私たちの供え物も宿るのを見れば、彼女は妬む共妻のように心騒ぐかもしれません。それでもあなたは憐れみにより、永遠の伴侶ラクシュミーを顧みぬかのようにして、私たちの捧げ物を最上の礼拝として受納されます。慈悲深き主よ、あなたの蓮華の御足が常に、我らの心の不吉な欲望を焼き尽くす炎でありますように。

This verse teaches that accepting what has been offered to and touched by Krishna—here, His forest garland—awakens steady devotion to His lotus feet and helps burn up impure desires in the heart.

Uddhava poetically says the garland becomes so blessed and radiant by resting on Krishna that it seems to rival even Śrī (Lakṣmī) in fortune—expressing the incomparable glory of anything connected to the Lord.

Honor and receive Krishna-prasada and anything offered in devotion with reverence; this practice steadily redirects the mind toward Krishna and weakens unhealthy cravings and negative intentions.
