This verse says that even exalted celestial beings and sages became eager to witness the Lord’s departure, and they responded by singing and reciting His birth and divine deeds—showing that remembrance and glorification of Kṛṣṇa is the heart of devotion at such a moment.
They assembled out of intense eagerness to see the Lord’s transcendental departure and to honor it by glorifying Him, indicating that Kṛṣṇa’s leaving is not ordinary death but a divine event witnessed across worlds.
Cultivate the habit of hearing, singing, and speaking about Kṛṣṇa’s birth and deeds; such bhakti-centered remembrance purifies the mind and prepares one to face life’s endings—small or great—with spiritual clarity.
