The Disappearance of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the Aftermath in Dvārakā
प्राणांश्च विजहुस्तत्र भगवद्विरहातुरा: । उपगुह्य पतींस्तात चितामारुरुहु: स्त्रिय: ॥ १९ ॥
prāṇāṁś ca vijahus tatra bhagavad-virahāturāḥ upaguhya patīṁs tāta citām āruruhuḥ striyaḥ
主との別離に苦しみ、その場で御両親は命を捨てた。愛しきパリークシトよ、ついでヤーダヴァの妻たちは亡き夫を抱きしめ、葬火の薪の上へと登った。
This verse shows that separation from the Lord can become an overwhelming, all-consuming devotion—so intense that worldly attachment and even bodily survival lose their hold when the heart is fixed on Bhagavān.
In the narrative aftermath of Krishna’s departure and the destruction of the Yadus, the widowed women, overcome with grief and separation, embraced their husbands and entered the pyres—describing the catastrophic end of the dynasty and their unbearable sorrow.
