The Disappearance of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the Aftermath in Dvārakā
ya etāṁ prātar utthāya kṛṣṇasya padavīṁ parām prayataḥ kīrtayed bhaktyā tām evāpnoty anuttamām
This verse states that one who rises early and devotionally chants this narration of Krishna’s supreme path attains that same unsurpassed destination.
Morning (prātaḥ) supports purity and focus; Śukadeva emphasizes disciplined, attentive devotion (prayataḥ, bhaktyā) so the recitation becomes effective bhakti leading to the highest goal.
Set a simple daily practice: rise a bit earlier, read or chant a short passage of Krishna-kathā with attention and devotion, and let it shape your day’s priorities toward spiritual remembrance.
