Bhakti as the Easy and Supreme Yoga: Seeing Kṛṣṇa in All and Uddhava’s Departure to Badarikāśrama
pratyarpito me bhavatānukampinā bhṛtyāya vijñāna-mayaḥ pradīpaḥ hitvā kṛta-jñas tava pāda-mūlaṁ ko ’nyaṁ samīyāc charaṇaṁ tvadīyam
This verse declares that once Krishna mercifully grants realized knowledge, a truly grateful devotee will not abandon the shelter of His lotus feet to seek refuge elsewhere.
In the concluding teachings (Uddhava Gita), Uddhava acknowledges Krishna’s compassion in granting him spiritual illumination and expresses unwavering resolve to remain surrendered to Krishna alone.
Stay steady in one authentic spiritual shelter—serve, remember, and follow the Lord’s guidance with gratitude—rather than chasing multiple “refuges” for peace and meaning.
