Sāṅkhya Enumeration of Tattvas, Distinction of Puruṣa–Prakṛti, and the Mechanics of Birth and Death
श्रीउद्धव उवाच यथैवमनुबुध्येयं वद नो वदतां वर ॥ ६० ॥
śrī-uddhava uvāca yathaivam anubudhyeyaṁ vada no vadatāṁ vara
シュリー・ウッダヴァは言った。「語り手の中で最も優れた方よ、これを正しく理解するにはどうすればよいか、どうかお説きください。」
Uddhava humbly asks the supreme teacher to explain in a way that he can clearly and correctly understand the teaching being discussed.
Because Krishna is the perfect knower and communicator of spiritual truth; Uddhava acknowledges His authority and requests a lucid explanation for proper realization.
Approach genuine spiritual learning with humility—ask clear questions, seek precise understanding, and request guidance from qualified teachers rather than relying on assumptions.
