rājñāṁ brahma-prasūtānāṁ vaṁśas trai-kāliko ’nvayaḥ vaṁśānucaritaṁ teṣāṁ vṛttaṁ vaṁśa-dharās ca ye

Translation

ブラフマーに由来する王統は、過去・現在・未来の三時にわたり絶えず連なっている。これら諸王家の記録、とりわけ顕著な成員の事績と後継者たちの系譜こそが、王統史の主題である。
