サティヤ・ユガの人々は多くが満ち足り、慈悲深く、万物に友愛を抱き、静穏で、節制し、忍耐強い。内なる歓びに憩い、すべてを平等に観て、霊的完成のために常に精進する。
Sama-darśana, equal vision, is based on the perception of the Supreme Spirit behind all material variety and within all living entities.
This verse lists contentment, compassion, friendliness, peace, self-control, tolerance, inner satisfaction (ātmārāma), and equal vision toward all as hallmark qualities of true renunciants.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī speaks this instruction to King Parīkṣit while describing spiritual standards and saintly qualities relevant for understanding dharma, especially in the context of Kali-yuga discussions in Canto 12.
Practice contentment and self-restraint, cultivate compassion and friendliness in relationships, tolerate difficulties without losing peace, and train yourself to see others with fairness and spiritual equality.
