त्वाष्ट्रस्य जन्म निधनं पुत्रयोश्च दितेर्द्विजा: । दैत्येश्वरस्य चरितं प्रह्लादस्य महात्मन: ॥ १८ ॥
tvāṣṭrasya janma-nidhanaṁ putrayoś ca diter dvijāḥ daityeśvarasya caritaṁ prahrādasya mahātmanaḥ
おお二度生まれの者たちよ、ここにはヴリトラースラの生と死、そしてディティの子ヒラニヤークシャとヒラニヤカシプの生死が語られる。さらに、ディティの子孫の中で最も偉大なる高貴な魂、プラフラーダの物語も説かれている。
