वालखिल्या: सहस्राणि षष्टिर्ब्रह्मर्षयोऽमला: । पुरतोऽभिमुखं यान्ति स्तुवन्ति स्तुतिभिर्विभुम् ॥ ४९ ॥
vālakhilyāḥ sahasrāṇi ṣaṣṭir brahmarṣayo ’malāḥ purato ’bhimukhaṁ yānti stuvanti stutibhir vibhum
戦車の前方には、ヴァーラキリヤと呼ばれる清浄な六万のバラモン聖仙が進み、ヴェーダの真言によって全能の太陽神を讃嘆する。
They are a vast group of pure brahmaṛṣis, renowned for austerity and devotion, described here as proceeding before the Lord and praising Him with hymns.
