Hari’s Special Mercy, Śiva’s Quick Boons, and the Deliverance from Vṛkāsura
ato māṁ su-durārādhyaṁ hitvānyān bhajate janaḥ tatas ta āśu-toṣebhyo labdha-rājya-śriyoddhatāḥ mattāḥ pramattā vara-dān vismayanty avajānate
This verse explains that people often turn to easily-pleased deities for quick material results, but the resulting opulence can make them proud and spiritually careless.
Krishna indicates that pure devotion requires sincerity and inner transformation, not merely ritual or the desire for quick rewards—so many abandon that path for easier, boon-oriented worship.
When success comes, practice gratitude and humility—remember those who helped you and stay steady in spiritual priorities rather than becoming arrogant or forgetful.
