तर्पणं प्राणनमपां देवत्वं ताश्च तद्रस: । ओज: सहो बलं चेष्टा गतिर्वायोस्तवेश्वर ॥ ८ ॥
tarpaṇaṁ prāṇanam apāṁ deva tvaṁ tāś ca tad-rasaḥ ojaḥ saho balaṁ ceṣṭā gatir vāyos taveśvara
わが主よ、あなたは水であり、その味であり、渇きを癒し命を支える力でもある。さらに風の顕現として、体温、活力、心の力、身体の力、努力、そして運動として御力を示される。
This verse states that Krishna is the enlivening power and taste within water, and the very movement of the wind—showing His immanence as the essence behind natural forces.
Vasudeva is offering a reverential hymn, recognizing Krishna as the Supreme Lord whose energies operate through the elements, so that all life and strength ultimately depend on Him.
Cultivate gratitude and remembrance: when drinking water or feeling the breeze, recall the Divine source of life and strength, turning ordinary moments into bhakti.
