Vasudeva and Devakī Glorify Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; The Recovery of Devakī’s Six Sons from Sutala
śrī-devaky uvāca rāma rāmāprameyātman kṛṣṇa yogeśvareśvara vedāhaṁ vāṁ viśva-sṛjām īśvarāv ādi-pūruṣau
In this verse Devakī addresses Kṛṣṇa as “yogeśvareśvara,” declaring Him the supreme Lord even of the greatest yogīs and mystic rulers, establishing His supremacy over all spiritual powers.
As their mother and devotee, Devakī reveals her realized understanding of their divine identity—acknowledging them as the original supreme controllers behind even the universe’s creators—within the chapter’s family reunion setting.
It encourages seeing beyond external roles and recognizing the Divine as the ultimate source and controller, cultivating humility, devotion, and steadiness when facing life’s uncertainties.
