妃たちは絹の衣をまとい、腕輪、首飾り、足鈴、耳飾りで美しく飾られていた。彼女たちと共に灌頂を受けたヴァスデーヴァは、鹿皮を身にまとい、ひときわ輝き渡った。
This verse shows Kṛṣṇa portrayed as formally consecrated (dīkṣita) and wearing the traditional deerskin, indicating participation in Vedic rites and the honoring of dharma even by the Supreme Lord in His humanlike pastimes.
In the Kurukṣetra gathering narrative of Canto 10, the Yādavas and their families assemble, and the women express affection and reverence by ornamenting Kṛṣṇa, enhancing the scene of royal devotion and familial love.
It teaches honoring sacred commitments and spiritual disciplines while offering one’s best—through respectful service, cleanliness, and sincere devotion—when engaging in worship and religious observances.
