The Solar Eclipse at Samanta-pañcaka and the Great Reunion of Yādavas, Pāṇḍavas, and Vraja
kā vismareta vāṁ maitrīm anivṛttāṁ vrajeśvari avāpyāpy aindram aiśvaryaṁ yasyā neha pratikriyā
This verse shows Kṛṣṇa declaring that Yaśodā’s affectionate bond is unbroken and incomparable—even divine kingship like Indra’s cannot alter it—highlighting Vraja-prema as supremely steady and selfless.
During the Kurukṣetra reunion, Kṛṣṇa honors the Vraja devotees’ pure love; by addressing Yaśodā as the queen of Vraja, He affirms that her maternal friendship with Him never diminishes despite His manifest grandeur.
Serve and love without calculating status or results—like Yaśodā’s steady affection—keeping relationships and spiritual practice consistent even when circumstances, success, or “opulence” change.
