श्रीवसुदेव उवाच अम्ब मास्मानसूयेथा दैवक्रीडनकान् नरान् । ईशस्य हि वशे लोक: कुरुते कार्यतेऽथ वा ॥ २० ॥
śrī-vasudeva uvāca amba māsmān asūyethā daiva-krīḍanakān narān īśasya hi vaśe lokaḥ kurute kāryate ’tha vā
シュリー・ヴァスデーヴァは言った。「妹よ、私たちを責めてはならぬ。私たちは運命の戯れに弄ばれる凡夫にすぎない。まことに世は至上主の御支配のもとにあり、人が自ら行おうと他に強いられようと、すべては主の統御の内にある。」
