The Solar Eclipse at Samanta-pañcaka and the Great Reunion of Yādavas, Pāṇḍavas, and Vraja
kunty uvāca ārya bhrātar ahaṁ manye ātmānam akṛtāśiṣam yad vā āpatsu mad-vārtāṁ nānusmaratha sattamāḥ
Here Queen Kuntī addresses her brother Vasudeva.
This verse shows Kuntī’s pain that her relatives did not even inquire about her during calamities, highlighting the importance of remembrance and caring connection among the righteous.
At Kurukṣetra, when the Yadus and Pāṇḍavas reunite, Kuntī speaks candidly to her brother Vasudeva, expressing how she felt overlooked during the Pāṇḍavas’ many hardships.
Stay connected to family and spiritually minded friends, especially when they face difficulties—simple inquiry, support, and remembrance are acts of dharma and compassion.
