Rājasūya: Agrapūjā for Kṛṣṇa and the Slaying (and Liberation) of Śiśupāla
bhagavan-nindanaṁ śrutvā duḥsahaṁ tat sabhā-sadaḥ karṇau pidhāya nirjagmuḥ śapantaś cedi-paṁ ruṣā
This verse shows that saintly and righteous people find blasphemy of the Lord intolerable; they refuse to hear it (covering their ears) and withdraw from such association.
Śiśupāla, the king of Cedi, publicly insulted Śrī Kṛṣṇa; the sabhāsadas considered this offense unbearable and therefore covered their ears, departed, and cursed him in anger.
Avoid environments and media that normalize ridicule of sacred ideals; protect your attention, leave harmful conversations, and keep company that strengthens devotion and character.
