This verse shows pāda-sevā—washing the Lord’s feet—and accepting that water (caraṇāmṛta) as supremely purifying, expressing reverence and surrender to Kṛṣṇa as the Lord of all.
Overwhelmed by devotion and gratitude, Yudhiṣṭhira’s eyes filled with tears; such emotion is described as a natural symptom of deep bhakti when one directly serves and beholds the Lord.
Serve with humility (pāda-sevā mood), honor the Lord with one’s best resources, and cultivate heartfelt gratitude—letting devotion become sincere rather than merely formal.
