The ācāryas point out that the Lord’s chariot driver would stand with joined palms and that the Lord, holding on to his joined hands with His right hand, would mount the chariot.
It describes Śrī Kṛṣṇa mounting His chariot, holding the charioteer’s hands, and being accompanied by Sātyaki and Uddhava—His appearance compared to the sun rising in the east, emphasizing His divine brilliance and auspicious presence.
They are highlighted as close associates accompanying the Lord in Dvārakā—Sātyaki as a powerful Yādava hero and Uddhava as Kṛṣṇa’s intimate devotee and counselor—showing the Lord moving with His devotees and servants in affectionate reciprocity.
By remembering Kṛṣṇa’s daily līlā—seeing His presence as illuminating like the rising sun—and cultivating humility and service mood, honoring even “ordinary” duties (like travel and work) as opportunities for devotional remembrance.
