Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers
The Śoṇitapura Battle and the Jvara Episode
Here the Lord accepts the Śiva-jvara as His devotee and gives him his first order — that he should never frighten, by hot fever, those who faithfully hear this pastime of the Lord’s.
This verse teaches that remembering the Lord’s dialogue and words grants fearlessness—one who recalls this exchange will not be troubled by fear again.
Kṛṣṇa assures Triśiras of His satisfaction and removes his fear of the Lord’s fever, then declares the spiritual benefit for anyone who remembers their sacred conversation.
When anxiety rises, practice smaraṇa—regularly recall and recite the Lord’s teachings—using remembrance as a daily anchor for inner steadiness and trust in divine protection.
