कलिङ्गराजं तरसा गृहीत्वा दशमे पदे । दन्तानपातयत् क्रुद्धो योऽहसद् विवृतैर्द्विजै: ॥ ३७ ॥
kaliṅga-rājaṁ tarasā gṛhītvā daśame pade dantān apātayat kruddho yo ’hasad vivṛtair dvijaiḥ
歯をむき出して笑い、主バララーマを嘲ったカリンガ王は逃げようとした。だが憤怒の主は、彼が十歩目を踏んだところで素早く捕らえ、歯をすべて打ち落とした。
