Mucukunda’s Departure; Jarāsandha’s Pursuit; Prelude to Rukmiṇī’s Abduction
Rukmiṇī’s Message Begins
taṁ bhuktavantaṁ viśrāntam upagamya satāṁ gatiḥ pāṇinābhimṛśan pādāv avyagras tam apṛcchata
This verse describes Kṛṣṇa as “satāṁ gatiḥ,” the ultimate destination and shelter of the saintly, showing that devotees naturally approach Him for guidance and protection.
Touching His feet expresses reverence, surrender, and loving service (pāda-sevā), establishing a devotional mood before placing a heartfelt question before the Lord.
Approach important conversations with humility and steadiness—remembering God as one’s refuge—so that questions and decisions arise from a calm, respectful, devotional mindset rather than agitation.
