Akrūra’s Prayers (Akrūra-stuti): The Lord as Cause of Causes, Virāṭ, and the Goal of All Paths
यथाद्रिप्रभवा नद्य: पर्जन्यापूरिता: प्रभो । विशन्ति सर्वत: सिन्धुं तद्वत्त्वां गतयोऽन्तत: ॥ १० ॥
yathādri-prabhavā nadyaḥ parjanyāpūritāḥ prabho viśanti sarvataḥ sindhuṁ tadvat tvāṁ gatayo ’ntataḥ
主よ、山に源を発し雨に満たされた川が四方から海へ注ぐように、あらゆる道はついにはあなたに至ります。
Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself speaks on this issue of worship in the Bhagavad-gītā (9.23-25):
This verse explains that just as many rivers ultimately merge into the ocean, all genuine paths and destinations culminate in the Supreme Lord—Sri Krishna.
Uddhava is offering prayers that glorify Krishna’s supreme position, affirming that every spiritual pursuit finds its completion in Krishna as the final shelter and goal.
Whatever your practice—prayer, meditation, service, study—align it toward remembering and serving the Lord; unity of purpose brings clarity and spiritual progress.
