Nanda’s Captivity by Varuṇa and the Revelation of the Spiritual World
Brahma-hrada
iti svānāṁ sa bhagavān vijñāyākhila-dṛk svayam saṅkalpa-siddhaye teṣāṁ kṛpayaitad acintayat
This verse explains that Kṛṣṇa, the all-seeing Lord, understands the inner intentions of His devotees and, out of compassion, plans how to bring their heartfelt desire to completion.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī speaks, describing how Kṛṣṇa perceived the wishes of the Vrajavāsīs after the episode involving Varuṇa and Nanda Mahārāja, and then arranged to fulfill their devotional longing.
Cultivate sincere devotion and clear intention in spiritual practice; the verse emphasizes that the Lord recognizes genuine inner longing and responds with guidance and mercy in due course.
