evaṁ pṛthv-ādayaḥ pṛthvīm annādāḥ svannam ātmanaḥ doha-vatsādi-bhedena kṣīra-bhedaṁ kurūdvaha

Translation

クル族の雄、ヴィドゥラよ。このようにプṛトゥ王をはじめ食に依って生きる者たちは、搾り方・仔牛・器の違いにより、大地から種々の「乳」—すなわち各自の食物—を搾り出して得たのである。
