इति तूष्णीं स्थितान्दैत्यान् विलोक्य पुरुषोत्तम: । स्मयमानो विसृज्याग्रं पुच्छं जग्राह सामर: ॥ ४ ॥
iti tūṣṇīṁ sthitān daityān vilokya puruṣottamaḥ smayamāno visṛjyāgraṁ pucchaṁ jagrāha sāmaraḥ
こうして阿修羅たちは沈黙して立ち、神々の望みに反対した。彼らを見て意図を悟った至上主プルショーत्तमは微笑み、議論もなく前方を放して蛇の尾をただちに握った。神々は主に従った。
