Transliteration

yadṛcchā-lābha-tuṣṭasya tejo viprasya vardhate tat praśāmyaty asantoṣād ambhasevāśuśukṣaṇiḥ

Translation

宿命により得たものに満足するブラーフマナのテージャス（霊的威光）は増大する。だが不満によってその力は、水をかけられた火が弱まるように衰える。
