evaṁ tv ahar ahaḥ kuryād dvādaśāhaṁ payo-vratam harer ārādhanaṁ homam arhaṇaṁ dvija-tarpaṇam

このようにして十二日間、日々このパヨー・ヴラタを行うべきである。すなわち、毎日ハリを礼拝し、ホーマを修し、供養を捧げ、ブラーフマナたちを食で満たして喜ばせる。
