Bali Mahārāja’s Empowerment and Conquest of Indra’s City
Prelude to Vāmana’s Petition
tatas tad-anubhāvena bhuvana-traya-viśrutām kīrtiṁ dikṣu-vitanvānaḥ sa reja uḍurāḍ iva
This verse says that by the potency of one’s noble actions, one’s fame can naturally expand in all directions and become known throughout the three worlds, shining brilliantly like the moon.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating the events to Mahārāja Parīkṣit.
Focus on sincere, principled action and service; when deeds are aligned with dharma, reputation becomes a byproduct rather than the goal—spreading naturally through consistent character and contribution.
