Transliteration

etat kalpa-vikalpasya pramāṇaṁ parikīrtitam yatra manvantarāṇy āhuś caturdaśa purāvidaḥ

Translation

王よ、一カルパ、すなわち梵天ブラフマーの一日において、「ヴィカルパ」と呼ばれる多くの変転が起こる。その根拠はすでに汝に語った。プラーナに通じた賢者たちは、梵天の一日には十四のマヌ期（マンヴァンタラ）があると定めている。
