Indra Slays Namuci—The Limits of Power and the Triumph of Divine Strategy
श्रीशुक उवाच अथो सुरा: प्रत्युपलब्धचेतस: परस्य पुंस: परयानुकम्पया । जघ्नुर्भृशं शक्रसमीरणादय- स्तांस्तान्रणे यैरभिसंहता: पुरा ॥ १ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca atho surāḥ pratyupalabdha-cetasaḥ parasya puṁsaḥ parayānukampayā jaghnur bhṛśaṁ śakra-samīraṇādayas tāṁs tān raṇe yair abhisaṁhatāḥ purā
シュカデーヴァ・ゴースヴァーミーは語った。ついで至上主シュリー・ハリの最高の慈悲により、インドラやヴァーユをはじめとする神々は意識と命を取り戻した。息を吹き返した彼らは、かつて自分たちを打ち負かした同じアスラたちを戦場で激しく打ち据え始めた。
