अधि स्कन्द वीरयस्व गर्भमा धेहि योन्याम्। वृषासि वृष्ण्यावन् प्रजायै त्वा नयामसि
ádhi skanda vīráyasva gárbham ā́ dhehi yónyām | vṛ́ṣā asi vṛṣṇyāvan prajā́yai tvā́ nayāmasi ||
Come over, O Skanda, display thy manly might; place thou the embryo in the womb. A bull art thou, bull-strong: for progeny we bring thee hither.
来たれ、スカンダ(Skanda)よ。男らしき力をあらわし、胎胚を胎内(ヨーニ)に据えよ。汝は牡牛、牡牛のごとく強し――子孫のために、われらは汝をここへ導く。
