तमिन्द्रं वाजयामसि महे वृत्राय हन्तवे । स वृषा वृषभो भुवत्
IAST Transliteration
tám índraṁ vājayāmasi mahé vṛtrā́ya hántave | sá vṛ́ṣā vṛṣabhó bhuvat ||
English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)
That Indra we quicken unto victory, for the great deed—to smite Vṛtra. May he be the Bull, the bull-like conqueror.
Translation
われらはそのインドラ（Indra）を勝利へと奮い立たせる。大いなる業――ヴリトラ（Vṛtra）を討つために。彼が雄牛となり、雄牛のごとき征服者となりますように。
