Sukta 10
ब्राह्मणेभ्यो वशां दत्त्वा सर्वांल्लोकान्त्समश्नुते । ऋतं ह्यऽस्यामार्पितमपि ब्रह्माथो तपः
brāhmaṇébhyo vaśā́ṁ dattvā́ sárvāṁl lokā́n sám aśnute | ṛtáṁ hí ’asyām ārpítam ápi bráhmā́tho tápaḥ
Having given the Vashā unto the Brahmans, he wins, in full, all worlds. For in her are deposited Ṛta—yea, Brahman also—and moreover Tapas.
ブラーフマナ(Brāhmaṇa)たちにヴァシャー(Vashā)を与えるなら、彼はすべての世界を余すところなく得る。なぜなら彼女のうちにはṛta(宇宙の正序)が据え置かれ――まさにBrahman(梵)も――さらにtapas(苦行の熱力)もまた宿るからである。
