Worship of the Nine Vyūhas (Nava-vyūha-arcana)
本章は、前章の灯施の誓戒（Dīpadāna-vrata）の結了を示して始まり、直ちにハリ（Hari）より伝えられたナヴァヴューハ供養（Navavyūha-arcana）という技法的儀礼へ移る。アグニは蓮華のマンダラ配置を説き、中央にヴァースデーヴァ（Vāsudeva）を安置し、方位に従ってサンカルシャナ（Saṅkarṣaṇa）、プラデュムナ（Pradyumna）、アニルッダ（Aniruddha）、ナーラーヤナ（Nārāyaṇa）を配し、それぞれを種子音（bīja）と元素・儀礼上の所処（注水の位置を含む）に結び付ける。さらにサッドブラフマー（Sadbrahmā）、ヴィシュヌ（Viṣṇu）、ヌリシンハ（Nṛsiṃha）、ブール＝ヴァラーハ（Bhūr-Varāha）など関連形相のマントラ—種子音対応、門口および西方区画での補助的安置、ガルダ（Garuḍa）とガダー（gadā、棍棒）のマントラに関する特別手順が詳述される。次第は外的マンダラ構築から内面化へ進み、ダシャーンガ・クラマ（daśāṅga-krama）による礼拝、方位護神のための壺（ghaṭa）設置、トーラナ（toraṇa）とヴィターナ（vitāna）の観想、月の甘露における微細身の瞑想が説かれる。終盤では十二の種子音によるニャーサ（nyāsa）で「神身」を成し、花投げによる弟子の識別、浄化のための護摩（homa）回数、ディークシャー（dīkṣā）の謝礼を示し、入門を儀礼学の社会的・霊的な封印として位置づける。
