Primary Rasa: samanya
Secondary Rasa: vira
Sandhi Resolution Notes: स्थाने ऽभीक्ष्णं = स्थाने + अभीक्ष्णम् (ऽ = अवग्रह). शस्वदनारते = शश्वत् + अनारते (त् + अ → द्/दन् संधि-लेखनभेद).
It imparts Sahitya-shastra/grammar-style technical definitions—clarifying the precise semantic force of common indeclinables and adverbs (e.g., antareṇa, madhye, abhīkṣṇam) used in metrical and literary composition.
Beyond theology and ritual, the Agni Purana also preserves compact glossaries for Sanskrit usage in poetics/prosody—showing it functions as a reference manual for multiple disciplines, including linguistic and literary sciences.
Indirectly, it supports dharmic study by enabling accurate recitation, interpretation, and composition of sacred and classical texts—reducing error in understanding and transmission of śāstra.
