Yuddhajayārṇava の流れを継ぎ、主宰神 Īśvara は要塞空間のための技術図「Koṭacakra（コータチャクラ）」を説く。外郭の砦・内側の方形・さらに中央方形という、入れ子状の正方形で構成される。続いて本章は Jyotiṣa（天文占星）を空間戦略に重ね、rāśi（宮）と特定の nakṣatra（宿）を方位および nāḍī の区分に配当し、koṭa 内の外側の流路 vāhya-nāḍī と内／中央の nāḍī を区別する。方位占星は実戦の指針となり、中央区画に吉星が相応の宿とともに在ると勝利を示し、ある種の中央配置は攪乱を警告する。さらに兆しの理は手順へと転じ、入出の nakṣatra に基づく進退規則が示され、金星・水星・火星および諜報指標（cāra-bheda）によって判断が補助される。幾何・時刻計算・天象を統合した、ダルマに刻印された神聖な戦略として、要塞を確保するための教えがまとめられる。
