Gathering, from each and every creature, its most excellent limb, he mentally collected those finest features and, by combining comparable parts, fashioned an incomparable woman—an image of beauty assembled from the best of all beings. The episode underscores how deliberate intention and imaginative power can construct an ideal form, while also hinting at the ethical tension of treating living beings as mere sources of desirable qualities.
